1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the permitted and prohibited uses of QuickExtraction. All users must comply with this AUP in addition to our Terms of Service.
2. Permitted Uses
You may use QuickExtraction to: (a) extract data from documents you own or have authorization to process; (b) configure extraction fields for your legitimate business needs; (c) connect email accounts you own for automated document import; (d) use the API for integration with your own systems; (e) export and download your extracted data.
3. Prohibited Uses
You must not use QuickExtraction to: (a) process documents containing child exploitation material; (b) extract data for the purpose of identity theft, fraud, or other illegal activities; (c) process documents you do not have the right to access; (d) circumvent usage limits or billing through technical manipulation; (e) attack or probe the Service for vulnerabilities without authorization; (f) use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from the Service beyond the provided API; (g) store or process data subject to regulatory requirements (HIPAA, PCI-DSS) unless you have an appropriate plan with compliance features.
4. Resource Usage
You agree to use the Service within the limits of your subscription plan. Excessive API calls, unreasonably large file uploads, or patterns of use designed to circumvent limits may result in throttling or suspension. We reserve the right to set and enforce usage quotas.
5. Content Standards
Documents uploaded to the Service must not contain: (a) malware, viruses, or malicious code; (b) content that violates applicable law; (c) content designed to exploit or cause harm. We reserve the right to scan uploads for malicious content and reject or remove files that violate this policy.
6. Security
You must: (a) keep your account credentials secure; (b) use strong, unique passwords; (c) enable available security features; (d) report any security vulnerabilities to security@quickextraction.com. You must not attempt to access other users' data, bypass authentication, or exploit security vulnerabilities.
7. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in: (a) warning; (b) temporary suspension of service; (c) permanent account termination; (d) legal action. We investigate reports of abuse and take appropriate action. Repeat violations will result in escalated enforcement.
8. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to security@quickextraction.com with relevant details.
9. Changes
We may update this AUP at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
